Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds has the largest selection of heirloom varieties in the USA. They also do several other things to promote gardening, seed collection, and saving seeds.

Bakersville:
Come and enjoy the beautiful Ozark hills and Baker Creek's seed farm and pioneer village, Bakersville.  Bakersville consists of the Baker Creek Seed Store, a speaker barn, restaurant, an old-time mercantile, herbal apothecary, a natural bakery, garden museum and blacksmith shop, two music barns, a Western jail, a native rock oven, a windmill, our seed warehouses, and many breeds of historic poultry and livestock.  The village is open Sunday through Friday from 8am until 4pm.

Heirloom Market at Comstock Ferre:
Heirloom Market at Comstock Ferre
natural foods grocery store and café takes the “farm to table” concept a step further and deeper into “seed to plate”. The Market will feature local, organic, GMO free groceries and basic household items as well as gardening supplies and Baker Creek’s heirloom seeds.  The Café will provide freshly brewed and locally roasted coffee, artisan teas and vintage soda fountain drinks, as well as freshly baked pastries and breads and hand crafted sandwiches, Panini’s, soups, and salads.

Seed Bank:
The Sonoma County Bank building, constructed in the 1920s is now home to Baker Creek Heirloom Seed Company's west coast location." The “Seed Bank” store serves gardeners in Petaluma, California, and surrounding counties. Located in the historic Sonoma County National Bank building, a beautiful structure in the heart of the retail district, it’s a beacon for gardeners, foodies, shoppers, and tourists alike. We offer over 1,500 varieties of heirloom seeds, garlic, tools, books, and hundreds of local hand-made gifts and food items. Remember—everything we offer is pure, natural, and non-GMO!

 National Heirloom Exposition:

Plans are well under way to making the 2016 National Heirloom Exposition the “pure-food” event of the year! While approximately 18,000 people attended the Expo over the 3-day period in 2015, all indications are that this 6th annual event will have an attendance of passionate pure food enthusiasts exceeding 20,000! We invite you to be a part of the fun and educational festivities on September 6, 7, 8 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, California. The Expo, with its integral educational components, is again guaranteed to influence the way people view food and our sustainable future.

This event is different from most other events in that it provides ample opportunity for attendee participation. In addition to experiencing an amazing line up of educational speakers, attendees may involve themselves with group discussions, food tastings, volunteer opportunities, and much more.  It also is a not-for-profit expo that benefits children's and school garden programs, and your support is greatly appreciated.
