Basswood is in Spanish language school and he wants to speak only Spanish for the next two months. It sounds like it is hard, but I think he is enjoying himself... I am going to continue the story about our New England trip.
Our ancestors on the Harvey family side, moved from Vermont over one hundred years ago. Basswood really wanted to stop by Harvey Mountain and Harvey’s Lake in Vermont. So, on our trip we stopped in Barnet, Vermont, and ate at “Harvey’s Haven,” the name of the pavilion in the park on Harvey’s Lake. We ate our lunch looking out over the lake at Harvey Mountain.
According to the sign for the park, Jacques Cousteau took his first dive in Harvey’s Lake. According to the website for Harvey's Lake Beach, http://www.harveyslakebeach.net/ we should have paid $65 to use the pavilion. Honest, the gate was open. (Well... at least we didn't have too much trouble opening it.) Besides, we are Marshal Harvey. Should we have to pay to eat in Harvey's Haven?
